What Has God Called You To Do?
Those of us who profess to be Christians and follow Christ, realize that we are an army of God, which main objective is to build the kingdom of God. As with any army, their are people in position of authority responsible for the success of the mission. Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, are the authority figures set by God for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry and the edifying of the body of Christ, as set forth in Ephesians chapter 4 vs 11-12.

A Note from God
As you read in My word, you have probably learned about the different people I used to do great works. Allow Me to remind you of a few. Many know about Noah; oh, he was a just man. Noah did according to all I commanded him and built the ark. (Gen. 7-9) There was also Moses. Moses trusted in Me, that I would save Israel from the Egyptians. Although they had to endure much, I loved it when they sang to Me that day. (Ex. 14) I even used My Son Jesus to walk on water. You should have been there to see the faces of those disciples. (Matt. 14:25)

This is the premier issue of Living Words, a bi-monthly devotional from Christian Family Worship Center.

Preparation for the Holy Spirit
We as Christians whose sole belief is the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, must constantly examine ourselves to be sure we are free of any offense that would hinder us from being filled with the Holy Spirit. Self-examination requires that we sincerely face up to our thoughts, beliefs, and actions, which may not be lining up with the word of God.
